On this Musical day in history 15 May 1967

On this day in history, while London was swinging at full volume in the Summer of Love, Paul McCartney first met American photographer Linda Eastman at a Georgie Fame concert inside the legendary Bag O'Nails nightclub in London’s Soho.
At the time, The Beatles were redefining music, fashion and culture, while Soho pulsed with late-night clubs, musicians, models and artists chasing the next big thing. Linda had travelled from New York photographing the exploding rock scene, and fate placed her in the same room as Paul McCartney.
Their connection became instant and enduring. Less than two years later, on 12 March 1969, Paul and Linda married, beginning one of the most iconic partnerships in rock history. Linda would go on to become a talented photographer, musician and key part of Paul’s post-Beatles journey with Wings.
The Bag O’Nails became part of rock ’n’ roll folklore another hidden Soho venue where music history was made.
