⚡ Six nights. Sold out. Bowie a shape-shifting legend at full power. ⚡

On this day in Music History May 3, 1976

On this day in Music History David Bowie stepped onto the stage at Wembley Arena for the first of SIX completely sold out shows. This was his long awaited return to the UK after three years away.

This wasn’t just a comeback… it was a reinvention. ⚡ Six nights. Sold out. One shape shifting legend at full power. ⚡

Bowie was deep into his Station to Station era a period drenched in mystery, transition, and sonic experimentation. The Thin White Duke had arrived: sharp suits, slicked-back hair, and a darker, more European-influenced sound blending soul, funk, and the early seeds of what would become his Berlin Trilogy.

Fans packed Wembley night after night, witnessing a Bowie that felt both electrifying and unpredictable part rock star, part performance artist, pushing boundaries with every note, every movement.

This tour marked a turning point the bridge between his glam rock past and the groundbreaking work that was just around the corner.

And like so much of Bowie’s story… it all ties back to London.

🎸 On my Bowie Walking Tour of Brixton and Soho, we trace his journey from a young dreamer in Brixton to a global icon. From early gigs and recording studios to the streets where Ziggy was born and legends were made it’s a deep dive into the moments that shaped his ever-changing identity.

You’ll stand in the places where Bowie transformed music, style, and culture forever.

🎶 And that’s how music makes history.
