Roger Waters versus Pink Floyd

ree

On this day 31st September 1986

On this day in history Roger Waters went to the high court to try and stop David Gilmour and Nick Mason from using the name "Pink Floyd", for future touring and recording. Fortunately he failed!

Join me on my Rock & Roll tour of Soho to visit the legendary music venue where in 1967 Pink Floyd played regular Sunday afternoons there as part of the "Spontaneous Underground". As 1967 began, the band had already performed some eleven shows at this club.
